Essa Primary Academy is part of the Essa Foundation Academies Trust and the Local Governing Body’s role is to set the direction for the academy, monitor and evaluate its performance, act as a critical friend and hold leaders to account for the pace and rate of improvement and the achievement of all pupils, ensure compliance with all financial, statutory and regulatory requirements, and help the academy respond to, and meet the needs of, parents and the wider local community.
